Belly Pics--6 months

It's been a while since I've posted some pictures of my growing baby belly so here we are. She's growing like a little weed in there & getting more active everyday! I've been very blessed to have such a wonderful, healthy, easy pregnancy so far and pray that it continues that way. We still haven't come up with a name yet and it looks like she'll probably be named in the hospital at the rate we're going! Feel free to give any suggestions that you wish...we need all the ideas we can get! I can't remember the last time we actually sat through the movie credits but it sure is a good way to get a few ideas for names! We've started to work on the nursery....I ordered some bedding from Pottery Barn Kids and it's too cute. Now we just have to decide what color to paint her room and to pick out some furniture! Fun times!
We leave on Thursday to go to Valdosta for a long weekend! It should be fun because Ashley's coming with us too so that will mean all of us kids will be at home at the same time which hardly ever happens! We'll get to spend some quality family time with everyone....mom, dad, Ashley, Aaron and his fiance, Gena! Hope you all have a blessed week and a safe 4th of July!

24 Week Doctor Appointment

Hey folks (this is Ryan)
We had another doctor's appointment on Thursday and everything went great, a little chaotic at the Dr.'s office due to unavailable staff and women having babies (who would have thought) but all reports were good. Our little girl is growing she weighed 1 pound 10 ounces, compared to 15 ounces 4 weeks ago. I put together a little video and you can judge for yourself, but we are afraid that she looks like me. We are hoping there is still time that she can out grow it (ha ha). I realize that it might be hard to tell what you are looking at on some of the video but we decided to post it anyway. Be looking for her mouth to open and close on the left side of the screen. Hope you enjoy, we know the grandparents will.

Catching up....

Hello blogger friends! No we haven't dropped off the face of the earth....we've just been really busy lately and I haven't made time to post. So here is my attempt to catch you up on all the very exciting things that have been going on.

The first week of June we had our gospel meeting at church which was very uplifting. The preacher from where we attended in Athens, TN was actually the guest speaker for the week so we enjoyed catching up with him and his family. He is a wonderful speaker and did a fabulous job! At the church where we attend that have potlucks every night of the gospel meeting so we had potluck meals Sunday thru Thursday which were wonderful but talk about putting on the pounds!! I haven't really gained a lot of weight so far during my pregnancy until then and with a week of vacation at the beach it should be interesting what the scale reads on Thursday when I have my next dr.'s appointment!

Last Saturday I drove to Valdosta to for our girls beach trip. It was absolutely wonderful! I can't remember the last time I laid around, got to read, and did nothing but just relax! It was so nice being able to spend some quality girl time with all the gals in the family especially since I live so far away it's something that I definitely miss! I'm looking forward to next year when we'll have 2 little addtitions to our girls beach trip....baby Brecken and baby Blount! (Yeah, it's probably going to be October before she has a name at the rate we're going...maybe even November!)

Speaking of Brecken....please continue to pray that God will heal Brecken's kidneys and to give Melissa and John the peace that only He can give them.

Tomorrow night we have our VBS kickoff at church. Somehow I got volunteered to be in charge of crafts this year....I know some of you are already laughing because if you know me very well you know I am not a crafty person at all so this should be an interesting week. Our theme is Moses: God's Deliverer and Ryan has been chosen to be Moses in the puppet show. He does such a great job with the puppets and the kids love him!

I guess that's all for now. I'll post some pictures tomorrow of our beach trip and I'll try not to let a month go by before posting again....actually it I'll let you all know how our appointment goes on Thursday and update with some new ultrasound pictures!

Hope you all have a great week!
