Snow Baby!

This morning we got about an inch of snow and Kinsey was just begging me to get out and play in it so we bundled up and took a few pictures before coming inside for some hot chocolate!

We Better Start Saving....

It looks like Kinsey's already made up her mind on where she'd like to go to school! I told her I thought Harding was a great choice-not that I'm biased or anything! Harding's Alumni office sent us this little T-shirt. It's 3-6 months and I'm glad I didn't wash and dry it before I put it on her because if it shrinks any it's not going to fit! I love my little chunky monkey!

A Nice Day for a Stroll

It's been in the 30's for the past few weeks so I've tried to keep Kinsey in out of the cold as much as possible but there comes a time when you've just got to get out of the house! Yesterday morning I saw on the news that it was going to be in the mid-50's so I thought we're going to bundle up and try out the jogging stroller Melissa and John gave us. We only made it once around the neighborhood because I'm bad out of shape but it was good to get some fresh air and sunshine : ) Kinsey seemed to enjoy it and even fell asleep today when we went so she's still in the stroller sleeping and I'm blogging in the garage! Whatever works right!?

All bundled up and ready to go!

Riding in the stroller is a tough job!

Gram, Grandpop, and Aunt Callie are coming to visit this weekend and we can't wait to see them! Hope you all have a great one!

Kinsey at 3 months!

Kinsey is getting so big and her fun personality is really starting to show! Here are some things I want to remember about Kinsey at 3 months:

-She loves to smile : )
-She smiles really big when she sees herself in the mirror....it's too cute!
-She's found her hands and they are always in her mouth!
-She's started to giggle and it's the sweetest sound! It's too funny when she giggles in her sleep!
-She still loves to be swaddled but is getting too long so her feet always poke out of the bottom.
-She's pretty much sleeping through the night. I'll put her down around 9:00 pm and she wakes up about 5:00 am--usually she wakes up once but I just have to put her pacifier back in and she's good to go!
-Just this past week she's gotten to where she won't take the bottle when I pump, she only wants to nurse. This is fine most of the time but when I have to leave her with someone it's a slight problem. I guess if she gets hungry enough she'll eat!?
-She so strong! She can hold her head up really well and she'll stand up in our laps. She even sat up in her Bumbo seat the other day and seemed to enjoy it.
-She's at least 15 lbs now and about 25 1/4 inches long!
-She's pretty much out grown her 3 month stuff and she's in her 6 month clothes!

Here are some random pictures from the past few weeks:

Getting ready to put those hands in her mouth...

Last Sunday morning Kinsey was ready for church so I just laid her on our bed while Ryan and I finished getting ready & getting our things together. I came back to get her to put her in the carseat and she was sprawled out completely zonked out!

Oh where is my hairbrush?
This is what Kinsey's hair looks like when it doesn't get brushed after a bath...

3 month Pictures

Saturday Kinsey will turn 3 months old so yesterday I took her to get her pictures made and they turned out so cute! She's really smiling more and did great even though she was a little fussy.
This was definitely my favorite! She's just so sweet!

We've not been up to much lately just enjoying some quite time after the Christmas rush. Yesterday we celebrated my 26th birthday. I told Ryan recently I don't think that I could be happier than I am right now in my life. I've got the most amazing husband who loves me more than anyone else could and a precious, healthy little girl whose sweet smile melts my heart everyday. I've been blessed with a wonderful family and many friends who love and care for me. And most importantly, My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, loved me so much that he died for me so that I might be able to live with Him eternally. How could I want anything more? I'm so thankful for all of these blessings and hope that I live each day to glorify the One who has given them to me!
I've been meaning to post this picture for a while but just haven't gotten around to it....on our way to Valdosta for Christmas Kinsey slept for the first 4 hours of our trip. Our philosophy is as long as she sleeping we're driving! When she finally woke up we stopped to change and feed her and to say she slightly blew her diaper out would be an understatement! I changed her diaper and while I was looking for a new outfit I sat her in the front seat and Aunt Callie snapped this shot! Gotta love those rolls!

Brecken and Kinsey Photoshoot

As most of you know my 1st cousin Melissa and I had our baby girls the same week in October. Melissa is like a sister to me so it was fun to get to be pregnant together and have our girls so close in age. I look forward to watching them grow up together and become friends! This is the first of many photoshoots! (Kinsey pooped on her matching shirt right before we took the pictures...go figure!)

All 3 of our beautiful girls!
(Kinsey was a little tired of taking pictures!)
My good friend Tiffany from high school stopped by with her mom and adorable little boy, Athen, to meet Kinsey.

All of the kiddos were fascinated with the snowman!!

Christmas in GA

Friday, the day after Christmas, we packed up and headed to south GA to have Christmas with my parents. Callie rode with us to meet up with Jenny, her roommate from Harding. Traffic was not the best so it took at little longer than usual but Kinsey did great! I think she enjoyed having Aunt Callie sit with her in the back seat so she had someone to talk to : ) No one knew we were coming on Friday except mom, everyone else thought we weren't coming until Sunday, so it was a fun surprise!

We had fun hanging out with friends and family. Ryan and Dad went fishing a few times and me, mom, Granny and Kinsey got a shopping trip in. Kinsey was spoiled rotten of course! But I guess that's what grandparents are for, right!?

Christmas with the Blounts

So I'm a little behind on my blogging but I'm going to attempt to get caught up with a few posts. We've had a busy Christmas but a wonderful one. After about a week and a half of being on the road we'll be heading home tomorrow and although we've enjoyed spending time with all of our family I think we're all ready to be back at home for a while.

Christmas Eve we traveled to the Blounts to spend a few days with them. Christmas morning Patsy fixed a wonderful breakfast before we opened gifts. Kinsey was so excited she slept through the whole thing! I'm sure this will be the only Christmas that happens! We had a great day just lounging around and visiting.

Callie collects snowmen so Steve and Patsy got her this dancing snowman that plays music and lights up well Kinsey thought it was for her! She absolutely loved it! She would lay on her belly and watch him for hours if we'd let her! It was too cute!
