Labor Time is here: (This is Ryan by the way)
Disclaimer: I am writing this between contractions so if it doesn’t make sense, sorry. And anyone who makes fun of my grammar, spelling or punctuation get put on the “don’t get to hold Kinsey until she is at least two years old” list.
Okay here is the scoop: We had a Dr appointment today at 2:00, Kristin thought she was having contractions all morning but wasn’t sure because they were not very painful. We got to Dr’s office and told the nurse that she thought she had been having some contractions so she put her on a monitor for about 15 minutes. The Dr came in and reviewed the readout and said I think you might be in labor, do the contractions hurt? Kristin said not really so the Dr checked to see how much she was dialated. Kristin was dialated to a 3. The Dr started talking about her contractions again and Kristin thought she was having one, the Dr. just looked at her stomach and said yep, that is a contraction you two need to go the hospital.
We get to the hospital and they send us to a place called Triage which is were they monitor the mother before admitting her to the hospital to make sure she is in labor. So Kristin keeps on having contractions and we walk around some, come back get hooked back up to the machines and I leave to get a very quick bite to eat and Kristin’s water breaks (of course because I wasn’t there). So we quickly find out we are not leaving the hospital tonight. That figures all our bags are packed and are at home. Anyway my dad brought us our stuff.
That is the quick version. Stats are above. Please pray Kristin is very uncomfortable.
